Product families

Four packaging families, one quoting process.

Rigid boxes, folding cartons, mailers and blisters are built from different boards and different tooling, so MOQ and sampling change with the family. Pick the closest match, and we will confirm the construction against your artwork.

Rigid gift boxes

Greyboard shells wrapped in printed paper, assembled by hand. The family we quote most often for cosmetics, spirits, electronics accessories and gift-with-purchase sets that need to hold shape on a retail shelf.

  • Typical MOQ500–1,000 pcs per design
  • Sampling7–10 working days after artwork approval

Printed folding cartons stacked flat

Folding cartons

Die-cut cartons that ship flat and lock into shape on the packing line. The lower-cost route for high-volume retail SKUs, and the family we recommend first when artwork carries the brand rather than the box structure.

  • Typical MOQ1,000–3,000 pcs per design
  • Sampling5–7 working days for printed white samples

Corrugated mailers

Single-wall and double-wall shippers cut with a custom fit, printed one or two colours. Used where the outer carton is also the unboxing moment, or where a courier route needs more protection than a folding carton gives.

  • Typical MOQ1,000 pcs per design
  • Sampling5–8 working days, plain or flexo printed
  • Best forE-commerce, subscription boxes, heavy items

Clear plastic blister packaging holding a small product

Blister packaging

Thermoformed PET, PVC or rPET trays paired with a printed card, for hardware, personal care and small electronics. The plastic side of our capability, and the reason we can quote a paper-and-plastic pack as one item instead of two suppliers.

  • Typical MOQ3,000–5,000 pcs, tooling dependent

How a quote is built

What we need before the price means anything.

A price without these four inputs is a guess. Send them in one message and the first reply is usually a quotation rather than another round of questions.

  1. Finished size and fill weight — internal dimensions in mm, and what goes inside, including any inner tray or insert.
  2. Board or material preference — or tell us the shelf it sits on and we will propose one, with a cheaper alternative.
  3. Print and finish — artwork file, Pantone references, and whether you need foil, emboss, spot UV or matte lamination.
  4. Quantity, market and date — first order and repeat volume, destination country, and the date it has to land.

Product enquiry

Tell us the box you need quoted.

Name and phone are enough to start. If you already have a dieline, a photo of the current pack or a competitor sample, mention it and we will ask for the file in the reply.

Replies are handled by the export team in Shenzhen, in English, within one working day.

We use your details only to answer this enquiry.

Buyer questions

What overseas buyers ask before the first order.

Which family is cheapest for a first order?

Folding cartons, because they ship flat and need a single die instead of an assembled shell. A rigid box costs more per unit but survives handling and returns better, so for premium sets the difference often disappears once you count replacements.

Can one order mix two families?

Yes. Paper and plastic are both produced here, so a rigid box with a thermoformed inner tray is quoted as one item rather than two suppliers. Mixed orders are scheduled together to share the shipping container.

What happens if my quantity is below the listed MOQ?

Send it anyway. Below-MOQ runs are possible on some families using shared tooling, at a higher unit price. We will tell you where the price step sits instead of refusing the enquiry.

Do you quote FOB or CIF?

Both. FOB Shenzhen or Yantian is the default because most buyers use their own forwarder. Tell us the destination port and Incoterm in the first message and the quotation will carry it.

Choosing between them

Three questions that settle the family.

01 · Does it go on a shelf or into a parcel?

A shelf decides print quality and surface finish. A parcel decides board grade and compression strength. Programmes that need both usually end up with two components.

02 · Is the box kept, or thrown away?

A kept box justifies tooling and hand assembly. A discarded one does not. This single question explains most of the price difference between a rigid box and a carton.

03 · How many SKUs share the structure?

One structure across six SKUs amortises the die. Six structures at 500 pcs each load tooling onto every unit and quietly double the piece price.

Comparing two families for the same SKU?

Send both sets of sizes and we will quote them side by side, so the cost and lead-time difference is visible before you decide.
